Background

Married with three girls, born bred and still living locally in Livingston and now holds the position of Sales Operations Manager.  
Have an interest in most sports with football being the main one having played previously at various levels locally.
The majority of spare time is now spent Bowling for the Deans Bowling Club.

Originally served an apprenticeship as a maintenance electrician at Cameron Iron Works in Livingston before leaving to pursue a career as a service engineer working on a variety of different types of equipment.
This progressed into an opportunity to work in a sales environment with the first position as Area Sales Engineer for GEC selling mainly GEM80 PLC's and Drives for 6 years. Then worked for Tricon Automation in Glasgow for a further 7 years latterly in a position as Sales Manager and was involved with a much more diverse range of products like Intellution SCADA, Allen Bradley PLC's/Drives, Honeywell Instrumentation, MTL and Pepperl & Fuchs. Sales experience with both a Manufacturer and a Distributor has led to the move to Elite in February 2000.
