Position HeldTechnical Director BackgroundMarried and father of two, Ewan is a third generation piper, his family are well known and highly respected among the pipe band fraternity - not just in Scotland, but around the globe. On leaving school, faced with a choice between academia and industry, Ewan chose the latter. Starting off as a Maintenance Electrician, promotion and company changes saw him gain experience as a Field Service Engineer and a Project Engineer. Ewan has strong background in both service and systems engineering gained across a range of industry sectors. He has worked in environments from large multi-national engineering companies to integrators operating locally and internationally. He prides himself in keeping abreast of the most up-to-date technological advances. However, it was as a Systems Engineer, with Electrical Mechanical Instrument Services Limited in 1992 that he met Sam Mackay and ELiTE was conceived.
