| ELiTE’s resolution to provide a client with the most cost-effective solution available at the time led to the company’s partnership with GE Fanuc.
Burton’s Biscuits in Edinburgh asked ELiTE to install a top-end SCADA on their silo system. A Client server architecture was the perfect solution, and GE Fanuc (Intellution) had the ideal product. This allowed product tracking from delivery of raw material to their silos, through the mixers and on to the finished product, with information from one major server being available with several people looking at the information at the same time. Intellution was the first to bring out a good client server topology, and this provided the most technically compliant system solution. This project became the springboard to form a strong partnership between EliTE and Intellution. |
