Over the years ELiTE has designed safety-related monitoring and control systems based on the relevant standards and products availability. These standards are continually changing and the products are becoming more sophisticated.
The current legislation is IEC61508 European Standard for the design of safety related system’s and “Making Paper Safely” *. As these standards and directives are complicated and are continually being updated, clients find it hard to keep up to speed. The Health & Safety Executive is placing a high level of importance on advising end users, manufacturers and systems integrators that only competent engineers work on these systems.
